iPhone Wallet
I stopped caring a full size wallet years ago and started to carry a business card holder as my wallet. I found that the limited size forced me to focus on carrying the essentials: drivers license, 1 debit card, and 1 credit card. Eventually I would prefer not to carry any of that stuff at all.
This iPhone hack seems like a promising solution. Obviously, there are security issues.

Social Networks, A Career Safety Net
Using social networks to get you jobs:
Within hours of updating his job status on the social-networking site LinkedIn, Mr. So won four job interviews through his contacts there. Within a week, two of the interviews resulted in offers. And within less than a month, his employer counteroffered with a position in another division and a $25,000 bump in his annual salary.I'm on LinkedIn too:

Youtube Excel Lovers
If I had a brother, his name would be Michael Girvin. The man produces some very useful Excel how-to videos and posts them to YouTube. I am intoxicated form all the Excel geekiness.
Here's an example video explaining one of my all time favorite Excel function - Pivot Tables!
Good times!

$1 million iPhone Apps
Steve Jobs tells the Wall Street Journal that the iPhone App Store sells an average $1 million a day. Since its launch Apple has generated $30 million in sales. That's a pretty sweet deal considering Apple gets 30% of each sale.

Not the First, Not the Last
So here is yet another blog.
The Wayback Machine tells me that I've been at this since July 1, 2001. Really? Wow. It really doesn't seem that long ago.
Over the years I've posted my writing to doan.ws and michaeldoan.com, and pictures to viewfromnowhere.com. It was just a couple of weeks ago that I let michaeldoan.com die because I've become cheap in my old age to pay for hosting. There are no archives for these sites because I don't see the point in it. The web is mutable.
This site will end one day.
